Fort Lauderdale, Florida (Headquarters) About the
Opportunity:
Kelley Kronenberg is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment function from our Fort Lauderdale headquarters. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing the Firm's talent acquisition strategy across all levels: from lateral partners, private-pay attorneys, and associates to director and C-suite roles. The Director will build and mentor a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, expand the Firm's attorney roster, diversify its practice offerings, and serve as a key partner to Firm leadership on growth through recruiting.
Your Responsibilities:
Set and execute the Firm's talent acquisition strategy, aligning recruitment across lateral partners, associates, and senior leadership with the Firm's long-term growth objectives. Build relationships across the legal community and professional associations to attract top attorneys, with a particular focus on private-pay attorneys and diversifying the Firm's practice areas. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists responsible for staff-level recruiting. Oversee the Firm's Summer Associate Program and on-campus interviewing (OCI) process to build a strong pipeline of emerging legal talent. Partner with the Firm's DEI Committee, Marketing, and Business Development teams to source diverse talent and strengthen the Firm's employer brand. Maintain and optimize the Firm's applicant tracking system and recruiting vendor relationships. Use data and reporting to track recruiting metrics, refine hiring strategy, and keep Firm leadership informed of progress.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctorate strongly preferred. 10+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 5 years managing recruiting within a law firm or legal recruiting agency, with a focus on attorney hiring throughout Florida. Proven experience managing and developing a talent acquisition team. Proficiency with iCIMS or a comparable applicant tracking system. Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to engage confidently with attorneys and executives at every level.
