Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Life insurance Sanford Rose-JFSPartners is seeking an experienced Human Resources & Recruiting Manager to support a multi-location organization on a
DIRECT HIRE
basis. This role will be approximately 50% Human Resources and 50% Recruiting and requires someone who can step in quickly, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Support employees and managers across multiple states and locations, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters. Respond to employee questions and serve as a day-to-day HR resource for managers. Manage day-to-day HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, terminations, benefits, workers' compensation, leaves, and insurance claims. Lead full-cycle recruiting for high-volume positions, including sales and field-based roles. Source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, extend offers, and manage pre-employment requirements. Partner with managers on staffing needs, performance concerns, corrective actions, and employee relations matters. Support multi-state HR compliance, including state-specific employment requirements and policies. Maintain accurate employee records and HR information; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus. Assist with HR policies, procedures, documentation, and SOP development. Manage multiple priorities and confidently navigate challenging or sensitive employee situations.
Qualifications:
7+ years of Human Resources experience, including hands-on recruiting responsibilities. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices. Experience supporting employees across multiple states; California HR knowledge is a strong plus. Experience supporting a blue-collar, field-based, construction, installation, or similar workforce is required. Comfortable handling difficult employee conversations and working in a high-turnover environment. Bachelor's degree required.
