$70,396.95 - $75,736.12 per year Job description: Laine Federal Education is a leading provider of full-service staffing and management programs for the K-12 educational market. We are currently seeking a Recruiting Manager to serve as the primary representative of Laine Federal Education and client in the Savannah, GA area. This role is focused on driving recruitment efforts, building a strong pipeline of qualified substitute educators and support staff, and serving as the key liaison between Laine Federal and district leadership. Your energetic leadership will ensure we attract top talent across various functions, from technical roles to executive positions, while maintaining compliance with employment laws and best practices. Duties Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies to attract paraprofessionals, and school support staff for the District. Plan, organize, and attend job fairs, hiring events, community outreach activities, and campus recruiting events throughout the Savannah metro area. Conduct regular, in-person site visits and meetings with schools and administrators within the school District. Serve as the primary point of contact between the district and Laine Federal management on all matters relating to recruiting, contract, and account operations. Source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates to meet daily fill-rate goals and long-term staffing needs. Build and maintain relationships with local colleges, universities, workforce development boards, veterans' organizations, and community partners to expand the candidate pipeline. Manage and motivate field staff, including hiring, disciplinary management, coaching, and recognition. Present recruiting updates, fill-rate metrics, and program results to district leadership as needed. Train, direct, and evaluate assigned staff. Create daily schedules to ensure proper manpower utilization across district schools. Provide exceptional customer service by resolving issues professionally and empathetically. Track recruiting activity, applicant flow, and hiring metrics; report results to the Regional Manager. Oversee employee orientation programs, employee evaluation processes, and succession planning initiatives to support internal talent development. Utilize HR sourcing techniques such as HRIS platforms (ADP), ATS tools (UltiPro, iCIMS), and social media channels to generate candidate pipelines efficiently. Ensure all recruiting activities align with legal standards related to employment & labor law while maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey. Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, management, or a leadership role (K-12 or education staffing experience preferred).Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders effectively across diverse channels. Proven expertise in negotiation tactics to secure competitive offers while managing candidate expectations professionally. Proven success in high-volume recruiting, sourcing, and candidate pipeline development. Strong background in technical recruiting, executive search, campus recruitment, and HR sourcing strategies. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems such as Lever, Taleo, Workday, iCIMS, and HRIS platforms like Kronos or ADP for data management and reporting. Deep understanding of employment law, contracts management, employee relations, and HR compliance standards. Experience with sales techniques including lead generation for talent pools through cold calling and social media outreach. Skilled in research methods for talent market analysis and leveraging tools like Salesforce for relationship management. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently using ADP for payroll integration and employee onboarding processes. Knowledge of training & development practices to support onboarding success and ongoing employee growth initiatives.
