The AVP will:
Provide operational leadership across Employee Benefits, HR Systems, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, Leave Administration, Compensation, and job description and classification processes. The AVP will directly lead the areas aligned with their experience while providing leadership through, and working in close partnership with, the Director responsible for the other primary functional areas. Oversee the administration of employee benefits and all applicable leave programs, including PFML, FMLA, and related leaves, ensuring that employees and managers receive timely, accurate, and supportive guidance. Oversee the management, integration, and continued optimization of Riverside's human resources information systems, currently UKG. Promote HR data accuracy, efficient reporting, effective system processes, and strong coordination among HR, Payroll, Finance, and organizational leadership. Provide oversight of compensation, job description, classification, and salary administration processes to support internal equity, external market alignment, and organizational consistency. Oversee talent acquisition and onboarding strategies and processes to support Riverside's workforce needs and provide candidates and new employees with a positive and welcoming experience. Support the CHRO in planning, developing, and implementing strategic HR priorities and department-wide initiatives. Partner with program and division leadership, HR team members, and external vendors to deliver high-quality service and effective problem-solving. Work collaboratively and cohesively with the AVP of Employee Relations and Professional Development to promote an aligned and consistent approach across all areas of Human Resources. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, organizational policies, and established HR practices. This position is based at Riverside's Main Office in Dedham and requires an on-site presence a minimum of two days per week. Additional in-office time may be required to support leadership responsibilities, operational needs, and collaboration across Riverside. Specific on-site days may vary based on organizational priorities.Salary:

Required Skills The successful candidate will have: Current service in a Director-level HR role, or comparable senior HR leadership experience. Demonstrated leadership expertise in either Benefits and HR Systems and/or Talent Acquisition and Onboarding. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic oversight across HR functions beyond the candidate's primary area of expertise. Strong knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulatory requirements, and HR best practices. Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels. Strong judgment, discretion, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with UKG or a comparable human resources information system is strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
