Recruiting Branch Manager US Staffing Agency - Battle Creek, Michigan Full-Time, Salaried | Reports to Operations Manager Lead the team. Strengthen client partnerships. Grow the branch. US Staffing Agency is seeking an experienced staffing professional to lead our Battle Creek branch. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the pace and accountability of the staffing industry and enjoys coaching a team, solving client needs, and driving measurable results. As Branch Manager, you will oversee daily branch performance, support and develop Staffing Specialists, and ensure clients receive responsive service and qualified talent. You will set goals, monitor staffing metrics, improve recruiting execution, and build a positive, high-performing branch culture.
Required experience:
At least 2 years of direct staffing-agency experience. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop Staffing Specialists; establish expectations, delegate responsibilities, and assign client accounts. Build and maintain strong client relationships by learning workforce needs, communicating consistently, and resolving issues quickly. Drive fulfillment of open job orders and help the team identify and present the best-qualified candidates. Set branch and team goals, monitor weekly progress, and develop action plans when performance is below target. Track and improve key staffing metrics, including fill rate and time-to-fill. Maintain accurate, timely information in Avionté, including start and end dates, associate messages, reason codes, job titles, and related records. Communicate branch results, challenges, and opportunities to the Operations Manager and leadership team. Promote employee morale, accountability, collaboration, and a strong service mindset. Represent US Staffing Agency at job fairs and community events.
What You Bring Required:
At least 2 years of direct staffing-agency experience. Strong knowledge of staffing operations, recruiting practices, order fulfillment, client service, and employee relations. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, delegate, and hold a team accountable. Strong client relationship, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to set goals, monitor progress, and use performance data to make decisions. Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Avionté or another applicant tracking system is preferred. Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when business needs require it.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
