About the Role At Dash Express, we are looking for a Driver Recruiter/ Fleet Manager who can actively identify, recruit, onboard, and retain independent contractors that help drive our continued growth. This position is part recruiter, part salesperson, and part fleet relationship manager. Success is measured by your ability to build a pipeline of qualified contractors, get them successfully onboarded, and ensure they remain productive members of our delivery network. This is a hands-on operations role at a growing company — you'll be close to the routes, the drivers, and the numbers, with real ownership over how transportation performs across the network. Key Responsibilities Source independent contractors through Indeed, Facebook, Marketplace, Craigslist, industry job boards, referrals, and networking. Conduct outbound recruiting calls, texts, and emails daily. Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified delivery contractors. Develop contractor referral programs and community recruiting partnerships. Generate leads and convert prospects into active contractors. Manage Contractor Onboarding Application completion Background checks Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) Drug screening (when required) Insurance verification Vehicle documentation Contractor agreements Orientation and training Start-date coordination Build strong relationships with active contractors. Assist contractors with operational questions and concerns. Monitor contractor performance and retention. Support route coverage and contractor availability. Work closely with Operations to ensure successful route execution. You will be communicating the Dash Express value proposition by discussing: Earning potential Route availability Delivery territories Equipment requirements Payment and settlement processes Contractor expenses Freight types and physical requirements Growth opportunities within our network Travel Requirements This role requires some travel between our three terminals — Minneapolis, MN; Milwaukee, WI; and Duluth, MN — estimated at 10-20% of working time. Travel typically includes routine site visits (driving, with occasional overnight stays) rather than air travel. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Travel frequency to each terminal will be set collaboratively based on driver needs, with the expectation that all three sites receive consistent, attention. Required Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in recruiting , or fleet management — final-mile, parcel, or last-mile delivery experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and transportation safety compliance. Proven experience directly recruiting or managing a fleet of drivers. Comfort working with data — able to track KPIs (on-time %, cost per stop, safety incidents) and translate them into operational decisions. Proficiency with routing/dispatch, plus standard office tools (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace). Valid driver's license and the ability to travel between Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Duluth. High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Experience specifically in final-mile, e-commerce, or cartage delivery operations. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $65,000

• 75,000 per year, depending on experience.

Target annual bonus:

12% of base salary, weighted across four KPIs — 1. Safety, TSA & DOT Compliance (40%)
