The Purpose The Recruiter & CRM Manager is a member of the Enrollment Management Department and is responsible for the College's student recruitment program and management of the CRM. Duties include responsibility for the recruitment of traditional/non-traditional students for all curriculum programs as well as being responsible for the configuration and functionality of the College's CRM, Element 451. This position will support College recruitment, enrollment and retention goals by gathering and managing data to support informed decision-making and strategic outreach. //www.schooljobs.com/careers/blueridge What You'll be Doing Design and implement a comprehensive, innovative recruiting program for the College aimed at attracting the maximum number of students from Blue Ridge's service area who may benefit from the educational programs offered Conduct regular recruiting visits to area home schools and private schools and other industry/community sites as appropriate. Conduct regular sessions with Boys and Girls Club and other community partners and establish a year long program of workshops. Maintain a flexible schedule which may include some evenings, weekends, and travel. Schedule tours for prospective students, public and private school tour groups. Work closely with the Coordinator of Student Life to arrange Student Leaders (Ambassadors and Student Government to assist with tours). Serve as liaison with high school counselors and teachers in the College's service area, seeking to enhance their awareness of Blue Ridge programs and build their support of the College. Represent the College at various CACRAO events, other high school recruiting/public relations activities, and community events. Work with faculty members and department deans on recruitment strategies/plans for each program of study and facilitate faculty involvement in recruitment plans. When needed assist with admissions duties Manage the recruiting budget Serve as the administer to maintain the Customer Relationship Management solution Maintain a comprehensive prospect database with collected data from recruitment events Oversee (through the CRM) the response to written inquiries about Blue Ridge programs from prospective students through the program areas. Work closely with Marketing to design and develop CRM outreach campaigns, communication plans, and targeted outreach initiatives. Maintain and update communications when needed In collaboration with other areas within Student Services including Financial Aid, Registrar, Admission Counselors, Continuing Education ensure communications and data tracking are effective and consistent Develop an internal enrollment funnel tracking plan within the CRM that will include communications, interactions, and student history that will provide critical reporting data. Design and implement reporting tools that will assess the effectiveness of campaigns and outreach efforts Assist users with the creation of forms for data importation and smart searches to effectively segment and reach populations. Provide form updates when needed Develop, implement, and manage initial inquiry response process to ensure prospective student leads are accurately collected and responded to promptly, appropriately and accurately Monitor system performance and complete CRM audits to ensure the quality of data collected, performing duplication checks and consolidating data as needed. Act as troubleshooter and point-person for faculty, staff, and other front-end users when they have questions or need to learn how to use additional functionalities of the CRM. Ensure compliance and confidentiality with all policies and procedures of the College, NC Community College System, and applicable State and Federal agencies. Maintain technical competencies necessary to the job function. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. Experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Skills and the Know-How An understanding of and commitment to the "open door" philosophy of the community college. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing and to represent the College in a professional manner. Maintain an enthusiastic, self-reliant and self-starting approach to meet job responsibilities. Ability to work with students, faculty, staff and other administrators to implement the mission and objectives of the college. Computer skills and attention to detail required. Working knowledge of the College Student Information System is preferred A strong commitment to safety, personal and professional integrity.
