Nashua, NH (campus dormitory housing available/preferred) About the Role(s) Northern Cyclones Academy, located in Nashua, NH seeks to fill multiple positions with dynamic, experienced individuals to lead and grow our resurrected girls hockey program for the 2027-28 season and beyond (recruiting responsibilities may begin immediately). These positions are full-time (preferred, but part-time also available) and hands-on for those passionate about player development, program building, and mentoring student-athletes both on and off the ice. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the girls hockey program, including coaching staff, training curriculum, and team operations Actively evaluate and recruit talent for both 16U and 19U teams, with recruiting efforts to begin immediately upon hire (preferred, but not required) Build relationships with prospective players, families, and club/youth programs to establish a strong recruiting pipeline Serve as a mentor and role model for student-athletes, supporting their athletic and academic development Collaborate with Academy administration on scheduling, travel, budgeting, and program growth Represent the Academy at tournaments, showcases, and recruiting events Live on campus in dormitory housing to provide consistent presence and support for student-athletes (preferred, but not required) Actively evaluate and recruit talent for both 16U and 19U teams, with recruiting efforts to begin immediately upon hire (preferred, but not required) Build relationships with prospective players, families, and club/youth programs to establish a strong recruiting pipeline Serve as a mentor and role model for student-athletes, supporting their athletic and academic development Represent the Academy at tournaments, showcases, and recruiting events Live on campus in dormitory housing to provide consistent presence and support for student-athletes (preferred, but not required) Coach one or more teams, with a focus on player development and advancement Practice planning and game preparation Qualifications Proven experience coaching and/or directing hockey (Girls hockey experience preferred, but not required) at a competitive level (AAA, Prep, Junior, NCAA, or equivalent) Strong track record of player evaluation and recruitment preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability and willingness to reside on campus in provided dormitory housing (preferred, but not required) Passion for developing and advancing young female athletes both as players and people Willingness to travel for recruiting and showcases/tournaments What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits (for full-time employees only) On-campus dormitory housing (additional stipend provided for staff residing on campus) Our own two-sheet ice arena (Cyclones Arena) The opportunity to build and shape a competitive girls hockey program from the ground up Access to Academy facilities (Cyclones Arena, dormitory, dining hall, classrooms, film room, workout center), resources, and support staff How to Apply Interested candidates should submit an email to with the subject line "Cyclones Girls Hockey" and include the following: Resume At least two (2) professional references
