POSITION SUMMARY
The Art Beat Collective is seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and community-focused Community Engagement & Recruitment Manager to lead recruitment, outreach, marketing, partnership development, and brand engagement efforts across the company's three primary divisions: Art Beat Kids, The Art Beat Collective, and AB Apparel. The Community Engagement & Recruitment Manager serves as a public-facing representative and Brand Ambassador for The Art Beat Collective. This position is responsible for increasing student enrollment, strengthening family and community engagement, cultivating school, corporate, and community partnerships, promoting company services and events, expanding digital and physical brand presence, and supporting the strategic growth of all three divisions. The successful candidate will take ownership of recruitment and community engagement goals while helping communicate the mission, programs, impact, and identity of The Art Beat Collective through direct outreach, relationship building, social media, digital content, events, presentations, and community-based marketing.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Art Beat Kids - Student Recruitment & Program Expansion Lead active recruitment of students and families for The Art Beat Collective's Digital Music & Media Production After-School Enrichment Program. Develop and implement recruitment strategies designed to maintain strong enrollment and student wait lists at each partner school site. Conduct outreach through school visits, tabling, presentations, phone calls, email campaigns, family events, and community activities. Maintain an active online, social media, and physical presence highlighting program activities, student experiences, student progress, and program impact. Develop relationships with parents, school administrators, teachers, counselors, expanded learning staff, and community organizations. Identify and cultivate new school and community partnerships and support expansion of the Art Beat Kids division. Collaborate with program leadership to address enrollment, attendance, retention, and family engagement needs. The Art Beat Collective - Community & Business Development Serve as a liaison between The Art Beat Collective and prospective community, nonprofit, educational, municipal, and corporate partners. Cultivate relationships that create opportunities for programming, sponsorships, collaborations, workshops, events, and contracted services. Communicate with current and prospective clients regarding live sound, live music, creative programming, community workshops, events, and related services. Support lead generation and follow-up with prospective clients and partners. Assist with promotion, organization, and execution of Art Beat events and community programming. Represent The Art Beat Collective at community meetings, school events, networking opportunities, festivals, markets, and public events. AB Apparel - Brand Promotion & Engagement Actively promote AB Apparel, accessories, merchandise, and related brand initiatives. Develop content that highlights the intersection of sports, music, creativity, culture, and community. Increase awareness through social media, community events, partnerships, and direct promotion. Coordinate opportunities to feature apparel at Art Beat programs, events, workshops, performances, and community activities. Marketing, Social Media & Content Development Maintain an active social media presence representing Art Beat Kids, The Art Beat Collective / Art Beat Community, and AB Apparel. Develop engaging photo, video, graphic, and written content and maintain a consistent organizational voice and brand identity. Document programs, events, student accomplishments, partnerships, and community impact. Create promotional materials for digital and print distribution. Monitor social media performance, reach, engagement, follower growth, and campaign effectiveness.RECRUITMENT, OUTREACH & COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS
Daily Maintain active social media communication highlighting the three divisions of The Art Beat Collective. Conduct direct recruitment and outreach to prospective students, families, schools, clients, and community partners. Participate in school-site recruitment, tabling, presentations, community events, and other in-person outreach opportunities as scheduled. Respond to recruitment inquiries and follow up with prospective students, families, clients, and partners. Weekly Review and report recruitment activity, enrollment progress, social media reach, engagement, partnership development, and progress toward organizational goals. Generate and follow up on new student, family, community, client, and partnership leads. Work toward adding a minimum of two students per partner site per week to the after-school program enrollment roster and/or wait list until site enrollment goals are achieved. Monthly Produce promotional video content highlighting each of the three Art Beat divisions for distribution through appropriate social media platforms. Develop and distribute a professional Art Beat Kids newsletter to participating families and The Art Beat Collective mailing list. Develop and distribute an organizational calendar of upcoming programs, workshops, performances, recruitment events, and community activities. Submit appropriate events to reputable local community calendars, school/community boards, city and county event listings, and other promotional outlets. Support the planning, promotion, and execution of at least one free community workshop, activation, or live event per month. Quarterly Develop a professional article, feature story, press release, or similar long-form communication highlighting the after-school program, community programming, student accomplishments, partnerships, or organizational impact. Distribute appropriate stories and announcements to local news, print, digital media, community organizations, and partner networks. Review progress toward annual enrollment, engagement, partnership, event, and audience-development goals.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Degree or equivalent relevant education and/or professional experience. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with students, families, educators, community organizations, businesses, and public agencies. Working knowledge of major social media platforms and digital communication practices. Ability to create quality photo, video, written, social media, and promotional content. Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, events, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with organizational leadership and program staff. Ability to travel to school sites, community locations, meetings, and events and work occasional evenings and weekends. Ability to pass required background screening and school district clearance requirements when applicable.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Education, Community Development, Media, or related field. Experience working with students and families in school, after-school, youth development, or community settings. Marketing, sales, recruitment, outreach, or Brand Ambassador experience. Experience developing community and corporate partnerships and student recruitment or enrollment campaigns. Experience planning and promoting community events. Experience with photography, video production, editing, graphic design, and social media content creation. Knowledge of social media algorithms, audience development, and digital marketing best practices. Experience writing newsletters, press releases, articles, promotional copy, and other public-facing communications. Familiarity with the arts, music, media, education, youth development, sports, or creative industries. Bilingual abilities preferred.DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Maintain 20 or more actively enrolled students at each participating after-school program site, along with a healthy wait list of interested students and families. Demonstrate consistent progress toward student recruitment and enrollment goals at each partner site. Plan, promote, and successfully execute at least one free community workshop, activation, or live event each month. Achieve a targeted 40% annual increase in online followers, audience reach, and/or engagement across designated Art Beat platforms. Consistently produce high-quality social media, photo, video, print, and written content representing all three organizational divisions. Produce and distribute the Art Beat Kids newsletter monthly and consistently promote Art Beat programs through community calendars, school networks, local media, and partner organizations. Develop new school, community, corporate, and organizational partnerships and generate/follow up on qualified leads for programs, services, partnerships, and events. Increase community awareness and visibility of Art Beat Kids, The Art Beat Collective, and AB Apparel. Receive positive feedback from students, families, school partners, community partners, clients, and organizational leadership. Complete weekly and monthly recruitment, outreach, engagement, and marketing reports on time and consistently represent The Art Beat Collective's mission, values, and brand. Meet other goals and performance metrics as jointly determined with the Managing Partners.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
See and read computer screens, mobile devices, printed materials, and digital content with or without vision aids. Hear and understand speech at normal levels and communicate effectively in person and by telephone. Operate computers, mobile devices, cameras, audiovisual equipment, and standard office equipment. Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and lift and/or carry promotional materials and equipment up to 30 pounds. Travel between school sites, community locations, organizational facilities, and events; set up and break down recruitment tables, displays, signage, and promotional materials.
