Psychotherapist - Founding Team | Austin, TX
Job Description
Our philosophy:
Prevent. Optimize. Sustain. We're not here only to repair what has broken. We optimize while people are still well. Opening early 2027. This is a new project in Austin, with real room to grow as the practice takes shape. The Role As our Psychotherapist, you won't be running a standalone practice inside a shared office. Your clinical work sits inside a longer plan: sharper clarity, resilience, and a stronger relationship with the mind (in dialogue with coaching, neuropsychology, and body-based care). You will see high-functioning adults. That includes stress, burnout, anxiety, and performance. You'll be part of a genuinely integrated team. Practitioners meet regularly to align on each patient's plan. This is a W2 role. Caseload builds with our membership base. No overhead, no billing administration, we handle the business side. Over time, we want someone who can take on more than sessions: input on protocols, care coordination, and later leadership tasks (recruitment, supervision, management, business development). Nothing is fixed on day one. We will train and grow that side with you. Duties Deliver individual psychotherapy for high-performing adults: executives, founders, and other demanding professionals Conduct thorough intakes: history, current concerns, goals, and fit with LaVie's integrated model Build treatment plans that can sit alongside coaching, neuropsychology, and body therapy without fragmenting care Communicate clearly about the process, scope, and limits of psychotherapy versus coaching or medical care Keep accurate documentation and track progress over time Contribute, as the practice grows, to protocols, coordination, and eventually leadership What We're Looking For Independent Texas license at start date: LPC, LPC-S, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD (able to practice without supervision) Experience with high-functioning adults A prevention- and performance- oriented stance: beyond managing symptoms, building clarity and sustainable functioning Strong assessment and communication skills Comfort working in a multidisciplinary team Presence and precision that matchLaVie:
clinical rigor inside a warm, refined environment Appetite for a new venture: ambitious, business-minded, willing to grow into responsibility, leadership experience is not required Compensation W-2 employee, part and full time Base structure plus productivity incentives tied to sessions Room to grow with the practice Get in touch Send your resume and a short note on why you would be a good fit for LaVie. hello@laviemindlongevity.comPay:
