Recruiting Team Lead

Job Description

Most recruiting leadership roles are built around supervision and reporting. This one is built around results. This role is for a proven recruiter who is ready to lead others, raise the standard, and take responsibility for recruiting performance across multiple clients. You will lead a team of recruiters, coach their performance, maintain visibility across their pipelines, and ensure the recruiting strategy produces qualified candidates and hires. You will still stay close enough to the work to diagnose problems, inspect quality, and step in when the team needs leadership. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from a distance. Partner closely with the Client Success Manager to turn client and job-level recruiting strategies into clear priorities, sourcing plans, candidate profiles, and measurable actions for the recruiting team. Own visibility across active recruiting pipelines, using sourcing activity, candidate quality, conversion rates, interview progress, follow-up, and hiring outcomes to understand performance across priority openings. Diagnose recruiting and hiring funnel problems early, identifying stalled candidates, weak candidate flow, screening issues, pipeline bottlenecks, or other breakdowns and leading the team through corrective action. Coach recruiters using recruiting metrics, pipeline data, and observed performance, providing specific feedback and following through until expectations are met and performance improves. Protect candidate quality by ensuring recruiters effectively evaluate experience, qualifications, communication, motivation, compensation expectations, availability, and overall fit before client submission. Bring pipeline data, candidate feedback, and market insights to strategy discussions, recommending changes when the evidence shows an existing recruiting approach is not producing results. Work cross-functionally with Client Success, recruiting operations, sourcing, support, and leadership to remove hiring roadblocks, clarify ownership, and keep client hiring priorities moving forward.
