We are seeking a Senior Recruiterto join our Corporate HR team and help drive talent acquisition across a growing, multi-location organization. This role will partner closely with operations leaders to attract, evaluate, and secure high-quality candidates in a specialized and competitive industry.

  • Partner with managers across multiple locations to understand staffing needs, build strong working relationships, and provide regular updates on recruiting progress.
  • Work with hiring managers, operations teams, and subject matter experts to define role requirements, required skills, qualifications, and industry-specific terminology.
  • Assist with developing clear job postings that accurately reflect the position, responsibilities, location, and candidate profile.
  • Build and manage applicant sources through job boards, social media, referrals, and direct sourcing. Evaluate partnerships with trade schools, colleges, employment agencies, job fairs and community organizations and engage where appropriate.
  • Attract qualified applicants through compelling job advertisements, networking, proactive outreach, and ongoing management of job postings to maximize exposure and applicant flow.
  • Pre-screen applicants, recommend short-listed candidates to hiring managers, support candidate selection discussions, and assist with job offers as needed.
  • Partner with local management to identify potential internal and external candidates, including former employees who may be strong rehire prospects.
  • Ensure the recruitment and hiring process is conducted in accordance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and consistent selection practices.
  • Travel to Firetrol offices as needed to support recruiting efforts, build relationships, and strengthen talent pipelines.

5-7 years of professional recruiting experience

Experience in, or solid understanding of the Fire Protection & Life Safety industry is strongly preferred

Thorough knowledge and understanding of employment law as it relates to recruitment, hiring practices, candidate evaluation, and selection procedures.

Strong ability to manage high volumes of candidates for current openings, while developing talent pools for future hiring needs. Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology

Understanding of candidate evaluation methods and selection strategies, especially behavioral interviewing

Proven ability to identify and attract qualified candidates. Demonstrated record of delivering candidates who become successful contributors within the organization

Exceptional relationship-building and verbal/written communication skills;

High comfort level with proactive candidate outreach and engagement with potential applicant sources
