The Program Manager, Learning & Development (Leadership Development) is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing leadership development programs that build leadership capability across the organization. This role partners with business leaders, HR, and key stakeholders to create scalable learning solutions that support leader effectiveness, succession planning, and organizational growth. The Program Manager will oversee leadership curriculum, development experiences, coaching and mentoring initiatives, and program evaluation to ensure measurable impact. What you'll do on a typical day: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise development programs across AmAPAC that strengthen leadership capability, business acumen, and operational excellence. Partner with senior business leaders, HR, and Talent Development teams to identify capability gaps and create development strategies aligned to business priorities. Conduct organizational needs assessments and translate business requirements into scalable learning and development solutions. Design and manage leadership and professional development programs that enhance employee effectiveness, leadership readiness, and organizational performance. Manage development frameworks, learning pathways, and career growth experiences that support employees across all levels of the organization. Consult with leaders on development planning, succession readiness, talent acceleration, and leadership pipeline strategies. Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to create and curate impactful learning content that aligns with GXO standards and operational priorities. Lead high-visibility development initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing stakeholder expectations and business objectives. Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization by promoting development opportunities and best practices. Establish, monitor, and communicate key success metrics including promotion rates, internal mobility, retention, leadership strength, participation, and overall program effectiveness. Collaborate with global and regional partners to ensure development programs remain relevant, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs. Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce capability building, organizational effectiveness, and long-term talent development strategies. What you need to succeed at
GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience 1-year experience in a learning and development role It'd be great if you also have: Experience designing and implementing leadership development initiatives at multiple organizational levels. Experience driving enterprise-wide development programs aligned to business strategy. Background in organizational development, talent management, or leadership development. Proven success managing complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with competency models, leadership frameworks, and career architecture. Experience leveraging talent data to measure program effectiveness and inform recommendations. Knowledge of change management principles and organizational effectiveness practices. Background within supply chain or other operational environments. Experience working with senior leaders and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
