at Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Bo in Springfield, Illinois, United States Job Description Essential Functions Under general direction of the Deputy Director of Training, serves as the Manager of In-Service Training.  Manages in-service and mandated continuing education training to local and state law enforcement officers through Mobile Team Units (MTUs) in accordance with applicable state laws and Board policies. Organizes, plans, develops, and implements new, revised, and existing training program policies and improvements for training programs, including School Resource Officers ( SRO ), Lead Homicide Investigators, Traffic Safety, Annual Training for Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs, Annual Training for Sheriffs, while staying in compliance with statutory authority and Board policy. Serves as a technical expert on State of Illinois In-Service and Mandated Training. Completes assigned special and routine projects, often of a sensitive and confidential nature, for the Deputy Director of Training and Executive Director. Serves as full line supervisor.
