A Director of Training and Development is responsible for managing all staff training and professional development programs for an employer or organization. Decides the training requirements of the organization and designs training programs that address staff needs. May also be partially responsible for determining the strategic goals of the organization. Supervises training managers and training staff and evaluates training impact.

Job Description
- Collaborate with Districts to ensure candidates have completed the training requirements of the contracting process.
- Coordinate the facilitation of: o Basics Day o Financial Planning Academy o 25 Day FPA Reconnect o Pacesetter Summit Series o Mastery Series o Elite Planning Series o Product Training Series o Network Day Trainings o Keith Wagner Lecture Series
- Work closely with the Chief Development Officer to: o Create and maintain an annual training calendar for the network and district offices.
- Coordinate all investment training put on by the investment training team.
- Participate in any applicable monthly Director of Training calls with peers and home office.
- Share best practices and participate in Director of Training community for personal development.
