JOB SUMMARY:
The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, administration, and delivery of learning and development programs across the organization. This role serves as a key partner in ensuring employees have access to effective training resources, development opportunities, and compliance learning programs. The L&D Coordinator manages training logistics, learning management systems (LMS), reporting, and communication efforts while providing exceptional customer service to employees, managers, and business stakeholders. This person will effectively use a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinate learning and development activities, including training schedules, participant communications, learning assignments, and follow-up with employees and leaders. Schedule and coordinate program sessions, including reserving meeting rooms, managing registrations, distributing program materials, and coordinating multiple trainings that occur simultaneously. Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and department leaders to support learning initiatives. Administer and support the learning management system (LMS), including monitoring user accounts, troubleshooting system issues, and providing support to learners and managers. Maintain and update, with approval, training curricula, learning assignments, and course catalogs within the LMS. Support compliance learning programs by assigning required training, monitoring completion, escalating overdue items, and maintaining documentation for audit readiness. Track training completion and maintain accurate training records. Generate standard and ad hoc reports on participation, completion rates, learning metrics, and training-status trends. Organize and maintain the training environment, including classroom setup and training materials. Administer small and large group trainings as needed. Coordinate communication regarding upcoming training events and program updates. Field and respond to employee training inquiries as needed. Develop and promote positive working relationships with employees, peers, and leaders. Perform other duties as assigned, including supporting Human Resources initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Professional communication and demeanor. Ability to present ideas, concepts, issues, concerns, and questions in a well thought out, positive, and professional manner to employees. Excellent presentation skills and ability to foster an atmosphere of teamwork with others. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with AI tools, such as Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, etc. Ability to anticipate obstacles and be prepared with contingency plans. Self-motivated individual with the desire to develop professionally and motivate others to do the same. Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally. Schedule flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends to support training across all shifts.
