Drug-free workplace/EOE See full job description below: The HR Learning & Development Specialist is a key member of the Human Resources team, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. Together they partner with Operations (CoE), Sales (SMO), and department leaders to design, implement, and evaluate effective training strategies across the organization. This role is responsible for developing learning programs, administering the Learning Management System (LMS), and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. This role also acts as an HR Generalist to support the HR team as needed. Key Responsibilities Learning Management System (LMS) Administration Manage all aspects of LMS administration, including course creation, updates, user registration, and reporting. Maintain accurate training records and generate reports to measure learning effectiveness and knowledge transfer. Train managers on LMS functionality, including documenting on-the-job training (OJT). Training Delivery & Facilitation Facilitate classroom, virtual, and train-the-trainer sessions. Coordinate and deliver new hire onboarding training in partnership with hiring managers. Program Coordination & Logistics Manage end-to-end training logistics, including scheduling, materials, travel, facilities, rooms, calendar invitations and communications. Ensure timely distribution of training materials related to product updates, system enhancements, and policy changes. Maintain version control of training materials and ensure real-time updates across programs. Learning Strategy & Program Development Research, secure, and administer external funding opportunities, including workforce development grants, to support training initiatives. Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maximize available resources and ensure compliance with grant requirements. Collaborate with HR and department leaders to assess organizational training needs and develop comprehensive training plans. Design and deliver learning programs across multiple modalities, including instructor-led classroom settings, fully virtual, and blended learning. Apply instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE) and adult learning principles to develop effective training solutions. Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create technical & product training, as well as safety training in a manufacturing environment. Develop training schedules, agendas, assessments, and materials for all active job functions. Organizational Development & Culture Promote a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization. Support leaders in identifying skill gaps and implementing targeted development plans. Provide coaching and guidance to support employee development and engagement. Foster collaboration and alignment among stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, or related field preferred OR 5+ years of experience in instructional design, training, or learning & development Required Skills & Experience Experience administering a Learning Management System Strong instructional design and training facilitation experience Experience developing training programs and evaluating effectiveness Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and training tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe) Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience with e-learning, webinars, and digital course creation Video and audio editing experience Experience building leadership development programs and learning communities Core Competencies Instructional Design & Learning Strategy Project Management Communication & Presentation Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking Change Management Internal Customer Focus Supervisory Responsibilities None Work Environment & Physical Demands Primarily an office environment with moderate noise levels Regular sitting, computer use, and communication Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions Additional Expectations Act as an HR Generalist, when time allows, to fully support the HR team in all aspects of the employee life cycle Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and respect for all employees Upholds company core values and promotes a positive, inclusive workplace Supports continuous improvement and learning across the organization
