Job Description

Description Community Options, Inc. is a national nonprofit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities across 12 states. We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Executive Director to lead Residential Operations in Southern New Jersey . This is a key leadership role for someone deeply committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities. The Executive Director oversees all aspects of operations, including compliance, program growth, budgeting, and workforce development. We are offering a robust salary along with exceptional benefits! Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with state licensing and reporting standards Establish and lead an advisory board to support organizational growth and resource development Identify operational challenges and implement effective, high-quality solutions Develop and recommend policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery Identify and pursue grant and funding opportunities Lead fundraising initiatives to support organizational goals Promote and maintain a positive public image aligned with the organization's mission Collaborate with local, state, and government agencies Contribute to strategic planning, including short- and long-term goals Cooperate fully with licensing bodies during inspections, inquiries, or investigations Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of administrative and supervisory experience (Master's preferred) Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Strong commitment to community-based services for individuals with disabilities Knowledge of funding sources and entitlement programs Strong public speaking and communication skills (including social media engagement) Proven leadership experience with a team-oriented approach Ability to pass background checks, registry screenings, and drug testing Competitive Benefits Salary starting at $80,000+, based on background and experience Competitive salary with bonus potential Comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) starting Day 1 Paid holidays, including a birthday holiday Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee incentive and discount programs 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Career growth and advancement opportunities Leadership Academy training Opportunity to earn a management certificate through Duke University Tuition reduction through university partnerships Community Options is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V #IND-NA
