What to Expect The Energy Manufacturing team is looking for a motivated and energetic Training Supervisor dedicated to leading a team of training coordinators that will instruct new hire and tenured employee training for cross-functional teams. This individual will work with stakeholders and developers to create world class training, helping in accelerating the world's transition to renewable energy. This role will oversee the Training Coordinator team that directly supports training on different lines in the factory. This candidate must be highly driven, organized and have a passion for developing people. You will be expected to challenge and to be challenged, to create, and to innovate. What You'll Do Manage the training staff to ensure professional onboarding and training and manage day to day activities associated with new hire training and onboarding teams Work as a liaison between our stakeholders and our development team to create interactive instructor led and online training for our employee population Work closely with leadership to understand needs and challenges, ensuring world class training for production, maintenance, engineering, and any other role during onboarding consistent with KPI's Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations Create and maintain standard work for each operation pre, during, and post training Promote, track, and report on continuous improvements of all training programs What You'll Bring Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially experience in providing classroom training Embraces and practices servant leadership, including accountability Proficient in MS office software (Word, Excel, Power Point) and experience in using Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus Familiar with continuous improvement culture and methodologies, with proven ability of organization with strong attention to detail Understands adult learning principles or educational background is also a plus Must have command of the English language both written and verbal Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
