Summary of This Role The Learning and Development Business Partner ( Operations ) is responsible for delivering training programs and supporting learning resources for our operations team members, including teams responsible for client onboarding, payroll processing, service delivery, and customer support. This role also partners with business leaders to identify learning needs and deliver impactful solutions. . Training includes , but is not limited to, new hire training and foundational skills , advanced technical skills, continued education, leadership development, etc. This role builds upon foundational training skills and demonstrates increasing independence in facilitation, content support, and consultative engagement. The L&D Business Partner role applies payroll expertise , learning methodologies, strategic thinking and collaboration skills to improve training effectiveness and support business outcomes, while continuing to refine facilitation, design, and evaluation capabilities. What Part Will You Play? Facilitate in-person new hire training and onboarding programs to ensure a consistent, engaging learning experience Create, u pdate, maintain , and contribute to training content, including reference materials, presentations, and learning aids Partner with business stakeholders and leaders to identify learning needs and recommend appropriate solutions Tailor training delivery to audience needs within established frameworks and guidelines Participate in training analysis, evaluation, and follow-up activities to assess effectiveness and support business outcomes activities to assess effectiveness and support business outcomes Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure training content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with operational needs Support onboarding, cross-training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives for peers and stakeholders initiatives for peers and stakeholders Continue to build payroll, product, and training knowledge through ongoing learning and feedback Minimum Qualifications 2-4 years of Payroll Service Bureau experience required Experience delivering training, mentoring, or facilitating learning (formal or informal) Demonstrated ability to apply payroll knowledge in training or knowledge transfer settings Ability to independently facilitate standard training sessions and manage classroom or virtual delivery environments Must be able to work onsite at the designated office location; this position is an in-office role. Preferred Qualifications 2 years e xperience supporting multiple phases of the training lifecycle (analysis, design, delivery, evaluation) Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) CPP certification What are our Desired Skills and Capabilities?
