Job Summary The Advanced Training and Field Development Manager provides strategic direction for the design, execution, and continuous optimization of national, regional, and field-based training initiatives supporting Area Territory Managers (ATM), Territory Managers (TM), and Regional Managers (RM). This role serves as a key partner to Sales Leadership, Marketing and the Director of Training, driving curriculum strategy, field capability development, and measurable performance enhancement across the commercial organization. This leader is accountable for advancing clinical and business acumen, strengthening field execution, and ensuring training programs translate directly into improved sales effectiveness and patient outcomes. Essential Functions Develop and execute a field-focused training and development strategy aligned to business priorities Design competency-based programs that strengthen clinical expertise, business acumen, and sales execution Build structured onboarding, certification, and development pathways to accelerate productivity and retention Drive continuous development of existing representatives and managers to elevate clinical and business capabilities Partner with sales leaders to assess field skill gaps and deploy targeted coaching and training solutions Lead development of tools and curriculum that reinforce consultative selling and strategic account management Leverage AI, advanced analytics, and digital learning platforms to scale training impact and personalize learning experiences Integrate e-learning, virtual platforms, and data-driven insights into training delivery and performance tracking Establish performance indicators that align training efforts with field execution, adoption, and business outcomes Lead training strategy and execution for national sales meetings Continuously evaluate and adopt innovative training methodologies and technologies to enhance effectiveness

Drive ongoing development of clinical knowledge across the sales organization, ensuring strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, therapy application, and patient pathways Enhance business acumen by developing programs focused on territory management, account strategy, and financial impact Coach managers and representatives to connect clinical positioning with economic and strategic value conversations Develop advanced learning pathways for tenured representatives and leaders to elevate performance beyond foundational skills

Improved clinical competency and confidence across new and tenured sales representatives Increased effectiveness of field coaching and development by frontline managers Stronger alignment between training initiatives, marketing strategy, and field execution of sales strategies Enhanced adoption of tools, messaging, and best practices across regions Demonstrated improvement in productivity, performance consistency, and retention Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree required. 5+ years of sales experience in life sciences or medical device required. 3+ years in sales training or coaching required. Prior leadership experience preferred. Experience developing training programs required. The annual salary for this position is: $140,000.00 to $175,000.00 This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan.
