Job Description

Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, coordinating, and continuously improving training programs across all departments within the organization. This role serves as the central point of contact of delivery for employee onboarding, systems training, product training, professional development, and ongoing learning initiatives associated with employee development.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
Serve as primary coordinator for training related to all new and existing products, services, programs, and initiatives by coordinating with department leaders and vendor partners. This will require strong collaboration with the Director of Employee Knowledge and Marketing. Design, implement, and continuously improve organization-wide training programs to include training materials, manuals, guides, job aids, and other learning resources. Work closely with department managers to identify training needs and performance gaps by developing customized training plans to support department goals and employee development. Provide training on core systems and operational processes, including Epysis and other organizational platforms by maintaining current knowledge of system updates, enhancements, and operational changes. Collaborate with Human Resources with onboarding, employee development, performance improvement initiatives, and employee retention strategies by establishing and maintaining a culture of continuous learning. Recommend and follow a reporting process to measure and monitor training and onboarding effectiveness through reporting success, training completion rates, and employee development progress. Performance Measurements :
Track onboarding and competency improvement progress and report to leadership quarterly as part of staff calibration. Establish, monitor, and report measurable training objectives and outcomes to management annually. Conduct regular assessments of employee's progress as it relates to development and knowledge through accessing updated information via The Vault, BVS, and other available resources. Provide training support when appropriate, to supervisors of employees with Individual Development Plans (IDP) and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP). Create and adjust annually training standards that align with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Quarterly, coordinate refresher training, advanced development opportunities and cross training initiatives. Report training initiatives, outcomes, and learning needs to leadership annually at a minimum.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:
Five to ten years of similar or related experience
Education :
1. A bachelor's degree or 2. Achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree preferred (e.g., training or education certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of organizational operations, systems, products, and services.
Demonstrated ability to train, coach, mentor, and develop employees.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time while delivering training.
  • Ability to speak at an audible level for extended periods of time while delivering training.
Work Environment:
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Ability to travel to branch locations and occasionally distant locations when needed. Travel could exceed 50%.

$56,148.51 - $84,222.77 per year
