$48,000•50,000 annually
Position:
Manager-in-Training Program Length:
12 months The Manager-in-Training Program is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the major areas of our business, including title production, settlement, operations, marketing, business development, and office management. Throughout the 12-month program, the candidate will work directly with experienced leaders across the organization, gradually progressing from observation and foundational training to hands-on responsibility and management development. At the completion of the program, leadership will evaluate performance, strengths, business needs, and potential placement into a permanent management or leadership position.
PROGRAM OUTLINE
Months 1-2 | Title & Production Foundation The first phase will focus on understanding the title side of the business and how a file moves through production.
Goal:
Develop a strong foundational understanding of the title product and production process before moving into settlement and office operations. Months 3-6 | Settlement, Closing Exposure & Client Experience During this phase, the focus will shift toward settlement operations, early exposure to the closing room, and understanding the overall customer/client experience.
Settlement & Closing Training Goal :
Tiffany, Stephanie and Jennifer will each provide a brief recap of his time with them, including their evaluation of his progress.
Marketing Exposure Goal:
Develop a strong understanding of settlement operations while gaining early and consistent exposure to the closing room and the client experience. Teresa will each provide a brief recap of his time with her, including their evaluation of his progress. Months 7-12 | Hands-On Leadership, Closing & Business Development The final phase will move from primarily learning and observing to hands-on application, increased independence and leadership development. 12-Month Completion Review At the end of the Manager-in-Training Program, leadership will conduct a comprehensive review covering: Title and production knowledge. Settlement knowledge. Operational understanding. Leadership and communication skills. Employee relationship skills. Client relationship/business development abilities. Understanding of scorecards and KPIs. Problem-solving and decision-making. Initiative and accountability. Overall management readiness.
Overall program goal:
By the end of Month 12, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to understand the entire title and settlement operation, interact confidently with employees and clients, interpret office performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and begin functioning as a future manager.
