SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Training Facilitator will be the primary point of contact for all training needs and inquires. They will develop systems and content in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and monitor and track training programs to ensure employees have completed training in and have developed sufficient skills required to support customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not comprehensive and may be adjusted or expanded to include other duties and responsibilities per the needs of the business. Facilitate and schedule employee training utilizing both internal and external resources Assess and confirm audio/visual needs and will coordinate required resource availability Ensure training documents and resources are prepared and available, providing positive training experience Conduct training as assigned Guide training and plan development as requested in partnership with Subject Matter Expert (SME) Identify specific training needs and expectations Provide content for SME to review including internal and external resources as appropriate Prepare approved content into presentation ready format (Instructional Design) Review Instructional Design with SME for final approval Ensure training requests remain on track for timely completion Facilitate transition from training matrix to LMS training module Use identified process developed by the steering committee Provide regular updates to HR Manager and steering committee Build and maintain LMS training module Monitor and report on training effectiveness Establish guidelines in partnership with SME Make recommendations as appropriate Collect and summarize training feedback and escalate as appropriate Communicate and promote training efforts and align training initiatives with business goals and objectives Organize training manuals, reference library and other education materials in LMS Maintain and administer grant partnerships Own and administer all apprenticeship programs, including youth and adult apprenticeships Own and administer internal training and development programs Conduct monthly training matrix audits to ensure compliance with minimal training expectations within expected timeline Other duties as assigned or required
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required: Associate's degree in business, Human Resources, Adult Education or related field and a minimum of one to three years' experience in a human resources field (manufacturing background preferred); and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Energetic and engaging personality with ongoing ability to build and maintain relationships Proficient in MS Office Able to handle and respect confidential material with absolute discretion Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills are required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding public speaking skills and an ability to interact with all levels of the organization including outside vendors
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required to sit and talk or hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
