Position Summary:
The Training Specialist delivers training programs to ensure bankers have the knowledge and skills required to effectively perform their job duties. Partners with departmental leaders and key areas to assess training needs, create and disseminate training solutions within the assigned market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary source of training for new hires within the assigned market for bank systems, processes, and procedures Delivers training sessions to employees, adapting content and approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners Provides feedback and collaborates with learners regarding their skill advancement Serves as an advisor to managers on the specific training needs for their employees Evaluates training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and other metrics, and modifies programs as needed Stays up-to-date on banking regulations, products, procedures, and industry best practices to ensure training content is accurate and relevant Participates in the maintenance of teller, CSR, and other job-specific manuals Serves as a subject matter expert and resource for employees on training-related inquiries Maintains training records, reports, and other documentation Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
At least five years' experience working in a bank in a teller or customer service role Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences Ability to create a variety of training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor guides, and handouts Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
