RCE Skills Academy — Huntsville, AL RCE Skills Academy is looking for a motivated, energetic, and knowledgeable Basketball Skills Trainer & Membership Development Coach to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who loves basketball, enjoys working with youth athletes, and has the personality and communication skills to build strong relationships with players and parents. The position combines basketball skills training with membership development , allowing the right candidate to earn both hourly compensation for training and additional commission for generating new members. What You'll DoBasketball Training Lead individual and small-group basketball skills training sessions. Teach fundamentals including ball handling, shooting, footwork, finishing, and overall basketball IQ. Follow RCE Skills Academy's player-development curriculum and training standards. Create a positive, competitive, and encouraging training environment. Build relationships with players and parents and provide professional feedback on player development. Assist with player evaluations, clinics, camps, and other RCE programs as needed. Membership Development Introduce families to RCE Skills Academy programs and membership options. Identify opportunities to convert training clients, evaluations, and prospects into RCE members. Build relationships with prospective families and follow up with interested customers. Generate new member referrals through relationships within the basketball community. Communicate the value of RCE's training programs and help families select the appropriate membership. Maintain professional follow-up with prospective and existing members. Compensation This is a performance-based opportunity with hourly pay plus commission potential.

Hourly pay:

Compensation for scheduled training sessions and assigned work.

Commission:

Earn additional income for qualified new memberships generated through your efforts. Commission opportunities increase as you generate more new members. Opportunities for additional hours through camps, clinics, evaluations, and special events. The more you train and the more members you help bring into RCE, the more you can earn. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Has basketball playing and/or coaching experience. Enjoys working with youth athletes. Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Is energetic, dependable, professional, and positive. Can build genuine relationships with parents and athletes. Is comfortable discussing programs and membership opportunities with families. Is motivated by performance-based compensation. Is willing to learn and follow RCE's training system. Can work independently while also being a strong team player. Sales experience is a plus, but not required. We are looking for someone who is comfortable talking with people, building relationships, and helping families find the right program.
