As a Facility Trainer at North Little Rock Caterpillar, you will conduct OTJ (on the job) training audits and deliver technical and functional training for new hire classes for the North Little Rock facility. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Deliver various training modules (safety, technical, etc.) for new hire training Assist in development of training material(s) and maintain all training records Serve as a liaison between new hires and sections managers to ensure the training process is consistent An understanding of the North Little Rock business, the ability to work with others across departments, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency and a positive attitude will be essential to success in this position Ability to effectively communicate with others that do not have previous manufacturing background Must be available to flex across all shifts and work overtime during the week and occasionally on weekends to meet customer needs.Basic Qualifications:
Strong people and leadership skills to develop new hire existing skill set Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance Rely on independent decision-making and problem-solving to complete job tasks. Intermediate level of computer proficiency and with Microsoft office apps (Excel, Word, Outlook) required ResumeREQUIRED
Minimum of 1 year in current role (internal) Not in the disciplinary process (Internal) Top Candidates will also have: AA Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or 6 months to one year of related experience 2-3 years of Manufacturing Experience preferred in Assembly or Logistics Previous training/instructor or teaching experience with preference to candidates acquiring these skills in a manufacturing environment Strong communication and organizational skills Previous logistics experience operating a powered industrial truck with knowledge, training, and experience to train new powered industrial truck operators and evaluate their competence (Logistics Trainer) Prior experience with developing and facilitating training modulesAdditional Information Shift:
1st shift. Will need to work 2nd and 3rd as business needs dictate.Core Hours:
7am - 3pm but work as business needs dictate.Starting pay rate:
