Job Overview We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance & NSO Training Specialist to join our team for the Central California market. In this role, you will strengthens operational consistency across the Yogurtland franchise community by supporting store compliance, new store opening training, and field execution. This role partners with franchisees and cross-functional teams to identify gaps, coach to Yogurtland standards, document results, and help ensure training translates into sustained store-level performance. KEY SUCCESS MEASURES
Completion of assigned store audits and compliance visits. Accuracy, consistency, and completeness of audit documentation. Timely follow-up and closure of identified compliance issues. Readiness and training effectiveness for new store openings and transfers. Demonstrated application of training standards after opening.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPLIANCE & FIELD EXECUTION
Supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, tools, and related activities designed to uphold Yogurtland operating standards. Completes assigned franchisee compliance activity and store audits within established expectations and timelines. Documents findings clearly, communicates expectations, and partners with franchisees on practical corrective action plans. Coordinates compliance concerns with the appropriate internal departments and escalates critical, complex, or potentially legal matters promptly. Evaluates reported or observed violations of policies, procedures, regulations, and operating standards and recommends appropriate follow-up. Supports a consistent process for documenting, addressing, and following up on compliance violations. Tracks compliance activity and trends across markets to identify recurring risks, training opportunities, and areas requiring additional support. Provides regular status updates and reports to the Director of Operations regarding compliance activity, risks, corrective actions, and progress.
NEW STORE OPENINGS & TRAINING SUPPORT
Travels to new store openings to lead and support franchisee and store-team training. Conducts post-opening and transfer follow-up to confirm that training is being applied consistently in day-to-day operations. Develops and coaches Training Managers and supports the broader development team as new stores open across markets. Monitors training effectiveness before, during, and after store openings and recommends adjustments to improve readiness and execution. Partners with Operations and other support teams to reinforce brand standards, operating procedures, and a consistent guest experience.
KNOWLEDGE & CORE COMPETENCIES
Maintains working knowledge of Yogurtland standards, the Franchise Disclosure Document, applicable health agency requirements, and other industry regulations relevant to the role. Builds productive, professional relationships with franchisees and Yogurtland Support Center team members. Provides clear coaching, counseling, mentoring, and performance feedback to franchisees when needed. Communicates clearly and concisely in both written and verbal interactions. Works independently, exercises sound judgment, and manages priorities with limited supervision. Solves problems quickly and effectively while balancing brand standards, franchisee partnership, and operational realities. PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This is a highly mobile field role requiring frequent travel to franchise locations and the ability to work varied days and hours, including nights and weekends, based on business and new store opening needs. The role regularly requires walking, standing, hand use, keyboard use, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing/pulling, and lifting/carrying materials. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.
