Job Description

Youth Development Professional - Transportation (Los Banos Site) Boys & Girls Clubs of Merced County Position Overview The Youth Development Professional - Transportation (YDP‑T) supports Club members at our Los Banos location , combining youth‑development programming with school‑site transportation coordination. This role requires traveling to designated Los Banos school sites and escorting students to Boys & Girls Club transportation —you will not be driving students yourself. A reliable personal vehicle is required. Key Responsibilities Youth Program Delivery — Plan, implement, and evaluate daily programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and positive character and citizenship. Technology‑Focused Activities — Support and lead technology‑based programs that build digital skills and confidence. School‑Site Escorting — Travel to Los Banos school sites, check in with school staff, and safely escort students to Club transportation. Member Engagement — Build strong relationships and encourage high participation in daily activities. Safety & Supervision — Maintain a safe, structured environment aligned with Boys & Girls Club policies. Program Support — Assist with enrichment activities, daily operations, and positive behavior guidance. Requirements Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel between Los Banos school sites. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with youth ages 6-18. Ability to lead activities, manage groups, and uphold safety expectations. Commitment to positive youth development and Boys & Girls Club values. Schedule & Compensation Part‑time, afternoon hours aligned with Los Banos school dismissal times. Competitive hourly rate; mileage reimbursement may be available depending on policy.

$16.90 - $17.41 per hour
