Licensed Insurance Sales Trainer Full-Time | In-Person | Active CA Insurance License Required Veronica's Insurance is seeking a charismatic, energetic, and highly professional Licensed Insurance Sales Trainer to lead the development of new Insurance Sales Agents. This is a hands-on training role. The trainer will be responsible for helping new hires prepare for and obtain their California insurance license , then training licensed employees on the practical skills required to successfully perform as a Veronica's Insurance Sales Agent. We are looking for someone who can command a classroom, keep trainees engaged, communicate clearly, maintain high professional standards, and turn information into real-world performance. Key Responsibilities Lead new-hire insurance licensing preparation and training Teach and prepare unlicensed new hires for the required California insurance licensing process and examination Guide trainees through licensing curriculum, study expectations, practice, and preparation Lead Veronica's Insurance new-hire training after licensing Teach insurance products, coverages, terminology, and company procedures Train agents on company systems, quoting, sales conversations, closing, referrals, and follow-up Teach New Business transactions from start to finish Train on underwriting accuracy, documentation, compliance, and quality standards Teach phone skills and common existing-customer transactions Demonstrate processes before requiring trainees to perform them Conduct role-plays, hands-on exercises, practice scenarios, and system training Observe trainees individually and correct mistakes in real time Evaluate whether each trainee can perform critical job functions independently Conduct knowledge checks, skill assessments, and practical evaluations Identify employees who require additional coaching, practice, or retraining Maintain accurate attendance, training progress, assessment, and readiness records Communicate trainee performance and concerns to leadership Prepare trainees to transition successfully into their assigned Veronica's Insurance location Required Qualifications Active California Personal Lines or Property & Casualty Insurance License Insurance sales experience Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, coverage, quoting, and the sales process Ability to teach and prepare new hires for the insurance licensing process Strong public speaking and classroom communication skills Charismatic, energetic, confident, and engaging personality Ability to keep a classroom focused, participating, and productive Comfortable providing direct coaching and corrective feedback Strong organizational skills and ability to follow a structured training curriculum Professional communication and judgment Dependable, accountable, and consistent Comfortable learning and teaching computer systems and technology Professional appearance and business-appropriate attire are required Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to training locations in the Ontario or Los Angeles area depending on the assigned new-hire training group Previous training, coaching, mentoring, or onboarding experience is strongly preferred. This is an in-person position and is not a remote training role. Schedule Current training schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM. Business and training needs may require schedule adjustments, and the company may return to Saturday operations in the future.
