About the Role We are seeking an experienced Infant Development Specialist (IDS) with direct prior experience delivering and mentoring

services to join our Early Intervention team, providing home-based services to infants and toddlers from birth to three. This is an hourly, highly flexible position, with the option to build to a full-time caseload. The IDS provides specialized instruction to support development across physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and self-help domains. Services are delivered in natural environments and aligned with each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). IDS Mentorship & Support Responsibilities Serve as a mentor and point of support for a small group of IDS providers Provide case consultation and practical guidance on IFSP implementation and parent coaching Review documentation and progress notes for quality and consistency; escalate concerns as needed Direct Early Intervention Service Responsibilities Provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers (birth-3) aligned with IFSP goals Use play-based, routine-based, and relationship-focused approaches in natural environments Coach parents and caregivers to embed developmental strategies into everyday routines Monitor progress through observation, caregiver input, and required documentation Collaborate with service coordinators and interdisciplinary team members (SLP, OT, PT) and participate in IFSP meetings, progress reporting, and transition planning as needed Important Clarification This role focuses on IDS/EI services (not psychotherapy, school-based, classroom, or ABA-only work), and candidates whose background is primarily in schools, preschools/childcare, mental health, or behavior-only roles must also have direct
