Skills Trainer Daily Tasks Include:

Assess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of clients in independent living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, money management, shopping, etc. Provide skills training in areas of deficiency to meet the clients' goals; and participate in meetings as needed to help modify their training objectives. Establish training or maintenance schedules with clients. What do you need to become a Skills Trainer? Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance in employee's name. Knowledge of necessary skills required for an adult to live in an independent environment.
