Organization:
SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley Position Overview:
Responsible for coordinating and supporting learning and development operations, including training programs, course schedules, learning events, educational technologies, logistics, and special projects across Sutter Health. Serves as a key operational partner for learning initiatives by managing training administration, coordinating learner enrollment, maintaining learning management system (LMS) activities, and supporting enterprise and affiliate education programs. Acts as a subject matter resource for LMS processes, course administration, reporting, and training operations. Coordinates course offerings, class schedules, assessments, learner communications, and training records while ensuring compliance with organizational, regulatory, and educational requirements. Partners with education leaders, operational stakeholders, instructors, and system-level teams to support the delivery of high-quality learning experiences. Facilitates communication, provides data and reporting insights, and contributes to the efficient execution of learning programs that support workforce development, organizational priorities, and continuous learning across Sutter Health.

This is 100% onsite in Sacramento
CA EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Associate's:
Communication, Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Education, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
1 year of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of online learning management systems (LMS) word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and presentation program applications. Ability to manage all phases of multiple projects simultaneously, and adjust to continuously changing responsibilities and priorities. Understanding of healthcare environment and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of training techniques, customer service programs, curriculum development, and program design. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, analytical and mathematical skills. Excellent organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Strong teaching and presentation skills and the ability to develop LMS education and informational presentations. Ability to lead a group of professionals in the problem resolution process, facilitate meetings. Familiarity with learning management systems authoring applications. Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management, administration and staff. Independence and self-direction to anticipate problems, handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions.

Pay Range is $32.45 to $48.68 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
