CORPORATE TRAINER
Build. Develop. Train. Make an Impact. A growing aviation manufacturing organization is seeking a Corporate Trainer to take ownership of its companywide training programs and help build a strong, consistent training culture across manufacturing and corporate operations. This is a newly created position with the opportunity to develop the training strategy, annual training plan, curriculum, and training processes from the ground up.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop and maintain the companywide training strategy and annual training plan. Create and deliver instructor-led, virtual, e-learning, and structured on-the-job training programs. Partner with Quality, EHS, Operations, Engineering, and department leaders to identify training needs. Develop training materials from SOPs, work instructions, regulations, and technical information. Coordinate technical and job-qualification training with subject matter experts. Administer the LMS, including training assignments, completion records, role-based requirements, and recurrency tracking. Maintain accurate, audit-ready training and qualification records. Develop competency assessments and qualification testing. Establish and support a train-the-trainer program for employees who provide on-the-job training. Support new-hire onboarding, production orientation, job aids, visual work instructions, and supervisory development. Partner with EHS on safety, human factors, regulatory, and corrective training. Track training completion, overdue training, competency, and effectiveness metrics. Support FAA compliance, audit readiness, and training requirements within an aviation manufacturing environment. Work with training vendors and external education or technical training partners as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING
5+ years of experience in corporate, workforce, manufacturing, or technical training. Experience developing training programs and curriculum from concept through implementation. Strong instructor-led training and presentation skills. Experience training both production-floor and corporate/management employees. Hands-on LMS administration experience. Experience maintaining training records in an environment requiring strong compliance and documentation. Ability to understand technical and regulatory information and translate it into clear, effective training. Strong communication, writing, organization, and project-management skills. Experience working cross-functionally with managers, subject matter experts, and employees at all levels. Manufacturing experience
PREFERRED
FAA-regulated training environment. Experience with competency-based assessments and training effectiveness. Knowledge of Cal/OSHA, CAPA, safety training, or human factors. Experience with e-learning or training-authoring tools. CPTD, ATD, SHRM, PHR, or similar professional certification.
