Job Description
Factory Instructor
The Factory Instructor performs direct training of Safety, Company, Culture, Systems, Manufacturing, Logistics, Technical and Business topics to employees. Responsible for scheduling employee training and performing a variety of administrative activities including database management, drafting reports, and presentations. Responsibilities Work with Training Coordinators and Managers to determine training material
Deliver training programs based on knowledge of identified training needs
Conduct new hire orientation to include; Safety, Company, Culture, Systems, Manufacturing, Logistics, Technical and Business topics
Conduct annual compliance training programs
Update and maintain shop floor competencies using database tracking systems and generate reports
Maintain records of training attendance in compliance with ISO standards
Work to keep training programs interactive to engage trainees
Must be able to work different shifts to deliver training as needed
And all other duties as assigned
Essential Functions:
Knowledge within Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Ability to deliver training material individually or in classroom settings
Ability to perform Internet research
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbally
Ability to complete weekly reports
Ability to manage database systems
Regular and reliable attendance
Ability to work effectively with others
Ability to interact frequently with others in a professional, courteous manner
Education, Training, and Skills Required:
High school diploma / prefer an associate degree in a relevant discipline
3 years of direct Safety, Manufacturing or Logistics experience in Company competencies
High level of writing and speaking of English. Ability to deliver training programs, instructions and training manuals at the appropriate level. Ability to effectively present information in large classes, one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, supervisors and managers in the organization
Entry Level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
Creativity in delivering effective training materials
Ability to complete tasks/projects in accordance with stated deadlines

Night Shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:30
AM Pay Range:
