Position Overview:
The Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It acts as an essential operational tool that allows the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defenses systematically, monitor the battle collectively, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapons systems to meet global and regional mission goals. C2BMC supports layered missile defense systems that deliver an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It functions as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensors, weapon systems, and operations at both global and regional levels to improve performance. C2BMC is crucial for all grounds and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of missile defense systems. The Planner Training Lead is responsible for leading the Planner component of the Training Team to develop and deliver C2BMC training.Essential Functions:
Manages the workflow of the Planner component and supports the Training Team Lead Coordinates with application Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure training dependencies are planned for by the ARTs and to ensure that Feature development is incorporated in the Planner training development cycle Authors the Iteration plan for the Planner training work Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for the C2BMC Planner applications and supports training, exercise, test events, and collaborates with other teams within C2BMC Responsible for creating training material and training the end users at Regional or Combatant Command in a multi-contractor team environment Prepares plans, internal office communications, briefing and training materials Responsible for representing the National Team in the user community, conducting training while deployed and conducting a train-the-trainer programBasic Qualifications:
Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start, with ability to obtain TS clearance Technical aptitude to become a system expert in C2BMC mission applications and interactive training system design/production for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and users of the C2BMC Experience in adult learning, education, and/or trainingPreferred Qualifications:
Experience developing training content for web-based and/or computer-based training that support simulation for a large-scale software intensive system Experience with the following tools: Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office Suite Top Secret clearance preferred Security+ Certification is a plusWhat We Can Offer You:
