COMPANY BACKGROUND
The Health Screening Services Division of VuePoint Diagnostics partners directly with health insurance plans to deliver preventive screenings to their members, primarily in patient homes. A large team of remote and mobile VuePoint Diagnostics health screening technicians deliver screenings to members across the country, managing daily schedules of pre-booked appointments and utilizing advanced mobile healthcare technology and equipment to complete exams with empathy, efficiency, and quality. POSITION SUMMARY
The Training Specialist coordinates, delivers, and evaluates training supporting the successful onboarding and ongoing development of colleagues. This role is the primary planner and facilitator for new hire training, ensuring colleagues are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to deliver an exceptional member experience while achieving operational performance goals. Beyond onboarding, the Training Specialist provides post-training coaching, monitors performance, and supports targeted skills development to accelerate time-to-productivity and improve overall scheduling effectiveness. This role also serves as a key resource for educating colleagues on new platforms, workflow enhancements, procedural updates, and operational changes impacting the organization. The ideal candidate is experienced with instructor-led training, virtual learning, onboarding, and maintaining training records, with proven experience in instructional design and adult learning principles. This candidate is an engaging facilitator, skilled coach, and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about helping colleagues achieve success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
New Hire Training & Onboarding Facilitate instructor-led onboarding programs for newly hired colleagues, utilizing best practices for adult learning. Deliver training on scheduling systems, workflows, member engagement best practices, compliance requirements, and operational procedures. Partner with operational leaders to support a successful transition from training into production. Monitor post-training performance metrics to assess onboarding effectiveness and identify opportunities for additional support. Provide reinforcement and follow-up support during the onboarding and ramp-up period. Evaluate trainee readiness and learning effectiveness through assessments, observations, and performance reviews. Coaching & Performance Development Conduct structured one-on-one coaching sessions with newly onboarded and existing colleagues . Develop and document coaching plans focused on improving productivity, quality, conversion, attendance, and member experience outcomes. Utilize operational data and performance metrics to identify skill gaps and recommend targeted development activities. Provide ongoing reinforcement of training concepts through coaching and performance feedback. Maintain appropriate documentation related to coaching activities, development plans, and performance improvement efforts. Partner with leaders to support colleagues requiring additional development to achieve performance expectations. Ongoing Training & Change Management Deliver training related to technology enhancements, workflow changes, process updates, and operational initiatives impacting the Scheduling team. Facilitate training sessions for new systems, tools, business processes, and client-specific requirements. Maintain and utilize existing training materials, job aids, reference guides, and learning resources. Partner with leadership to support successful adoption of operational and technology-related changes. Reinforce key behaviors, workflows, and operational expectations through ongoing education and performance support. Skills Development Workshops Lead individual and small-group workshops focused on skill development and performance improvement. Facilitate targeted learning sessions designed to improve quality, productivity, scheduling effectiveness, communication skills, and member engagement outcomes. Deliver focused coaching and workshop sessions for colleagues performing below established expectations. Professional Skills and Outcomes Design, develop, and facilitate onboarding and ongoing training programs using proven, effective, and engaging adult education concepts. Utilize adult learning principles and coaching techniques to drive measurable performance improvement. Ensure training content aligns with approved scripts, policies, procedures, work instructions, and compliance requirements. Reinforce HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality standards across all training audiences. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or certification in education, Training & Development, Business, or Communications is preferred. 2+ years of adult training experience required. Demonstrated experience training remote or hybrid workforces with virtual and instructor-led programs. Experience providing one-on-one coaching and documenting employee development activities. Experience utilizing performance metrics and operational data to evaluate training effectiveness and identify development opportunities. Experience working in a contact center, healthcare operations, member services, scheduling, or similarly performance-driven environment preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to adult learners and colleagues. Outstanding presentation and group facilitation capabilities. Proven ability to engage learners in classroom, onsite, and virtual environments. Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance development skills. Ability to confidently lead large-group, small-group, and individual learning sessions. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems. Ability to communicate complex processes in a clear, practical, and learner-focused manner. Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) or similar training content management platforms. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements. Bilingual is a plus. WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL
Position is based full-time in the Denver Contact Center location (Greenwood Village, CO). Training is primarily delivered onsite within the Contact Center environment, with occasional virtual delivery as business needs require. Infrequent travel to other Contact Center or company locations may be required.

The salary range for this position is dependent upon the selected candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors.
Pay:
$53,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
