What You'll Be Doing As an Independent Living Skills Trainer, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals as they work toward greater independence and improved quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting individuals in developing essential life skills, such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care. Providing guidance and support in navigating community resources and services. Encouraging self-advocacy and helping individuals set and achieve personal goals. Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of progress and services provided. What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who is not only skilled but also compassionate and dedicated to our mission. To be successful in this role, you'll need: At least 1 year of experience in a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for helping others succeed and a commitment to promoting independence. The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals.
