This is a hands-on coaching and development role. You'll spend time in classrooms observing circle times, learning centers, transitions, teacher-child interactions, and daily routines. You'll help teachers recognize opportunities to make learning more creative, engaging, intentional, fun, and student-led. We are looking for someone who doesn't just tell teachers what great teaching looks like—you can model it, teach it, inspire it, and help others achieve it. What You'll Do Observe circle times and classroom experiences across all preschool age groups and provide meaningful, actionable feedback. Coach teachers on creating engaging, age-appropriate, student-led learning experiences. Help teachers transform ordinary lessons and routines into opportunities for exploration, creativity, conversation, movement, and discovery. Model effective circle times, classroom activities, questioning techniques, transitions, and teacher-child interactions. Train and develop both new and experienced teachers, meeting each educator where they are and helping them grow. Provide constructive feedback in a way that is clear, encouraging, respectful, and motivating. Help teachers strengthen classroom environments, learning centers, lesson implementation, and child engagement. Lead individual coaching sessions, small-group trainings, workshops, and professional development. Identify teacher strengths as well as opportunities for improvement and create practical strategies for continued development. Partner with school leadership to strengthen curriculum quality and consistency across classrooms. Inspire teachers to move beyond simply completing an activity and instead create experiences where children are thinking, talking, questioning, choosing, creating, and participating. Who We're Looking For You are an experienced early childhood educator, trainer, coach, or curriculum leader who understands the developmental needs of children throughout the preschool years. You have a strong understanding of what developmentally appropriate practice looks like across different ages and stages—and you can translate that knowledge into practical strategies teachers can immediately use in their classrooms. Most importantly, you know how to work with people. You can celebrate what a teacher is doing well while also having honest conversations about what needs to improve. You are comfortable giving feedback, demonstrating techniques, following up, and holding high expectations while building positive relationships. You May Be a Great Fit If You... Have extensive knowledge of early childhood development and preschool curriculum. Have experience working with multiple preschool age groups.
