Job Description
A Corporate Trainer is responsible for maintaining the standards of an organization's talent by providing comprehensive training on the electronic medical records (EMR) and related areas at the start of employment and as needed throughout employment. The duties include working closely with the training manager, team, department heads and company executives to determine areas for employee improvement and providing follow-on training and technical support to physicians and staff. Other related projects as needed. Provide training using pre-developed programs and curriculum for employees of the organization, in small groups and/or one-on-one for orientation and in-job training Collaborate with the training manager and team to identify additional training needs, update training guides, and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees as needed Follow systems to monitor and ensure employees are performing their responsibilities according to the training Ensure the compliance of the company's employees to cooperate with standards and procedures during training sessions Provide support and mentoring for new employees while conducting an evaluation and identifying sections where improvements are needed Train new hires on navigation and workflow of EMR computer software Travel to various offices throughout the organization to assist staff with on-going training, as needed Work in conjunction with the IT department to resolve user software issues Update and maintain training materials to adapt to changes within the software and government requirements Ensure compliance requirements, HIPAA, confidentiality is maintained Develop and cultivate a never-ending appetite for learning to broaden your knowledge Strong organization and time-management skills to prioritize and set goals for productivity Creative, empathetic, and problem-solving skills to adapt training presentation to accommodate the learning needs of all learners Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage learners Strong analytical skills to perform research to find solutions to workflow hindrances and EMR software glitches Highly effective customer service skills and communication Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word Typing, grammar, punctuation skills
