Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for youth to learn and grow
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote positive youth development
- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth
- Coach and mentor students in sports and recreational activities
- Provide Christian counseling and guidance to students
- Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution
- Supervise and ensure the safety of all youth in the program
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive program experience
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and program activities
Requirements:
- Experience working with students in a variety of settings such as sports coaching, babysitting, daycare, tutoring, or theater
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the program and students
- Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact in their lives
- Ability to pass a background check
