Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and supportive environment for youth to learn and grow
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote positive youth development
• Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth
• Coach and mentor students in sports and recreational activities
• Provide Christian counseling and guidance to students
• Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution
• Supervise and ensure the safety of all youth in the program
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive program experience
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and program activities

Requirements:

• Experience working with students in a variety of settings such as sports coaching, babysitting, daycare, tutoring, or theater
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage behavior and create a positive learning environment
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the program and students
• Passion for working with youth and making a positive impact in their lives
• Ability to pass a background check

Note:

Early childhood education experience is preferred but not required.
