  • Savannah, GA Department Information Office of Career and Professional Development Job Summary The Work Study Student will support the Office of Career and Professional Development as a Career Educator on the Armstrong Campus beginning Fall 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Employment is contingent upon funding. Please confirm your Federal Work-Study eligibility with the Office of Financial Aid or Request Federal Work Study Eligibility Here. Responsibilities Greets incoming office visitors Demonstrates and assists students in utilizing print/electronic career resources available through the department Reviews and critiques resumes, cover letters, and related job search correspondence (with training) Promotes department at career fairs, orientations, and related tabling events Responds to phone calls and departmental emails Assists with appointment scheduling Ensures main office areas are kept clean and supplies are organized and readily available Guides students through the job search process educating them on effective job search strategies and available resources (as training permits) Shift Specifics Up to 20 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability Shifts available Monday
