What You Will Be Doing:
The Emerging Technologies
  • Training Specialist helps employees understand, adopt, and effectively use AI, automation, and modern digital workplace technologies.
This role blends instructional design, technology enablement, facilitation, and change management so business users gain practical value from emerging technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess organizational training needs and translate business objectives into practical learning experiences. Design and deliver workshops, office hours, learning paths, job aids, videos, knowledge articles, demos, and internal communications. Facilitate training for AI, Copilot, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and related workplace technologies. Collect user feedback, measure adoption/engagement, and continuously improve enablement programs. Partner with IT and business stakeholders to increase user proficiency, accelerate onboarding, and support change management. Encourage confident, responsible, and enthusiastic use of emerging technologies across the company. Other duties as assigned and qualified.

Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have experience with understanding the use of AI, automation, and modern digital workplace technology.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Information Systems, Communications, or equivalent practical experience preferred. At least 1 year of consistent, applied, daily use of large language models (LLMs) in a professional context.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
At least 1 year of consistent, applied, daily use of large language models (LLMs) in a professional context — experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and/or Azure AI Foundry is a strong plus. Ability to provide multiple examples of training programs, workshops, office hours, learning paths, user enablement efforts, or technology adoption initiatives personally designed and delivered. Experience creating engaging learning content using a variety of formats, including instructor-led training, self-paced learning, job aids, videos, knowledge articles, live demonstrations, and internal marketing communications. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools. Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with change management principles, user adoption strategies, feedback collection, and continuous improvement processes. Ability to assess organizational training needs and translate business objectives into practical learning experiences. Enjoys exploring emerging technologies, helping others confidently apply them to real-world business problems, and encouraging enthusiastic engagement and ideation from users across the company. Desires to cultivate a strong personal and team reputation for consultative service, user enablement, and customer satisfaction. Experience administering or supporting enterprise learning platforms. Experience delivering AI literacy, Copilot, Power Platform, or Microsoft 365 training. Experience developing role-based learning pathways and certification programs. Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. Experience measuring and reporting on adoption, engagement, and learning effectiveness metrics. Cybersecurity and governance awareness, continuous learning mindset, consultative service orientation, and willingness to share knowledge across Emerging Technologies, IT partners, and Yancey.
