Position Summary We are looking for a Clinical Training Specialist (Sonographer) who thrives in a small, fast-paced environment and wants to play a hands-on role in bringing innovative medical devices from concept to market. This position is responsible for providing formal sonographic technical and clinical support of Femasys' product portfolio to internal and external stakeholders, including physicians and sonographers and other healthcare providers . Serves as a liaison between the Company's clinical team and the healthcare institution and supports commercial accounts through product education and training. Additionally, this position is responsible for contributing to the development of ultrasound-related product training in alignment with the Company's vision and values.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide sonographic technical and clinical expertise across Femasys' product portfolio. Assist clinical team with investigator and site training, development of sonographic training tools and curricula, and monitoring of subject cases. Liaise with investigational sites and ultrasound manufacturers to facilitate image capture, transfer and storage. Assist in the development of continuing education courses, digital resources and other education materials featuring the Company's products. Collaborate with internal clinical, commercial, marketing and other corporate resources to develop appropriate clinical and training materials and provide sonographic input into training programs. Support technical training on-site or through web-based platforms for commercial cases, as needed Collaborate with clinical, commercial, marketing and other corporate resources to develop appropriate clinical and training materials and provide sonographic input into the training process. Represent the Company at conferences, meetings, training programs and other events in support of the Company's products. Communicate product information effectively to/from the field and communicate effectively with members of clinical team to ensure all tools and communication specific to ultrasound are adequate. Represent the Company in a positive, professional manner with all internal contacts and external investigators, healthcare professionals and commercial customers, while upholding Femasys' values at all times.
What We're Looking For:
Required:
BS in biological or health science or Associate's in Radiologic Technology with certification (ARDMS). Prefer Sonographer in Women's Health. 3-5 years of experience working in a clinical healthcare setting, preferably gynecology area. Ability to travel up to 50%, occasional international travel Strong understanding of the healthcare marketplace and the drivers associated with it. High-level communication skills needed to represent the Company and its products to clinical trial sites, key accounts, and provide effective leadership and motivation to others. Good judgment, unquestionable integrity and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal management skills, both internal and external. High level of professionalism and poise in a variety of business situations. Interest in educating and training physicians and sonographers using Femasys devices.
Preferred:
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of a woman's reproductive system a plus.
