Do you enjoy helping persons with disabilities live their best lives? We have the position for you! Optimae is hiring a full-time Training Coordinator in our Cedar Rapids office. This position will work side by side with the local leadership team training new and existing employees. We are looking for a candidate that has the ability to communicate clearly, efficiently and effectively. Trainings will be in an office setting and customer home environments. This position requires an individual who is able to work in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment. We are looking for a leader who demonstrates good communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work with teams.
Duties:
Schedule, Manage and Complete New staff required trainings and annual trainings. Create new staff training schedules. Coordinate with local leadership for program development. Train Direct Support Professionals how to follow customer Individualized Service Plans Participate in on-call rotation (some weekends and holidays may be required) Participate on Optimae's training improvement team. Schedule, Manage and Complete monthly training opportunities for staff. Provide direct one-on-one training in customer's home on how to complete Direct Support Professional job duties, including medication monitoring and administration. Provide and document billable services while working directly with customers. Review and Audit customer's documentation to improve staff training. We are excited to meet you! Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED Licensed driver with automobile insurance and a working vehicle Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check Medication Manager Certificate, preferred, not required.
