What We Need:
We are looking for a Senor Learning and Development Trainer to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. The Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Trainer position is responsible for developing, curriculum and content, scheduling events. and delivering training. Trainings are provided either live or online to support HNI Corporate and Workplace Furnishings leadership and member professional development. The Senior L&D Trainer will be comfortable and effective in front of an audience delivering a wide range of training topics.
What You Will Do:
Facilitate live learning, including training sessions, webinars and on-boarding events, to drive and support intended business outcomes strong presentation and advanced PowerPoint skills, coupled with application of adult learning principles, to engage, motivate, and inspire learners
Assist in the development of new training content associated with the introduction of new products and/or services
Maintain existing training content and develop training curriculum in conjunction with key internal stakeholders
Facilitate in-person and online training on professional development topics for internal members Maintain a high level of business and industry acumen to ensure learning targets are achieved
Engage in self-study to stay current with new training methods, programs and techniques of competitors, and changes in the marketplace while developing skills to enhance teaching and training
Serve as an ambassador of HNI Workplace Furnishings furniture brands and field sales organizations Participate in events and activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization
What You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Education, or related field required.
At least 3 years of progressive training and content development experience required.
