Job Description
CSI Workforce Training and Development is seeking a dynamic and engaging Business and/or Leadership Instructor to deliver high-impact, non-credit courses for local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community members.
Unlike traditional academic roles, this position focuses on practical, skills-based training designed to support workforce development, small business success, and professional growth across the Magic Valley region.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver short-term, non-credit courses, workshops, and training programs in areas such as:
Small business development
Leadership and management
Communication and team dynamics
Customer service and workplace effectiveness
Entrepreneurship and operations fundamentals
Customize course content to meet the needs of local employers, industry partners, and community participants
Facilitate engaging, interactive learning experiences for adult learners with varying levels of experience
Incorporate real-world applications, case studies, and practical tools
Collaborate with Workforce Training staff to identify training needs and develop relevant programming
Support contract training opportunities for area businesses as needed
Maintain high-quality instruction aligned with Workforce Training and Development standards
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Leadership, or a related field (Master's preferred but not required)
Relevant professional experience in business operations, leadership, management, or entrepreneurship
Prior teaching, training, facilitation, or public speaking experience preferred
Strong ability to connect with adult learners and community-based audiences
Experience working with small businesses or in workforce development is highly valued.
