StretchLab Wicker Park is a boutique fitness & wellness concept studio seeking a dynamic person with a background in exercise science, exercise physiology, mobility, personal training, kinesiology, physical or occupational therapy, or massage therapy to join our team. StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm. The Role:

FLEXOLOGIST

® The role of a Flexologist® is to create and deliver the an extraordinary professional stretch experience. Through personalized 1:1, you establish rapport with our clientele and help them achieve their wellness & fitness goals through more flexibility and freedom of movement every time they're on our studio benches.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to members and prospective members.
• Help build StretchLab membership and retain clientele through delivering high level sessions, establishing relationships, and creating a fun & positive environment for both members and co-workers
• Educate members during sessions. We want our members to learn something of value in each session.
• Manage client care
• Note taking to ensure optimal outcomes for members subsequent visits
• Booking client's recurring appointments and maximizing clients membership utilization
• Ensure safety of clients in terms of proper technique
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Clean and maintain all equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for fitness, wellness, flexibility and mobility Degree in an applicable field: Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Physiology
• OR•License in Physical Therapy Assistant, Licensed Massage Therapist•OR•

Certifications:

ACE, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, RYT, etc

• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
• Fantastic communication & interpersonal skills
• Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve their goals
• Professional work ethic including: reliability, team player, punctuality
• Must be available to go through our Flexologist Training Program which includes 10 hours of online tutorials, two days of in-person & hands on training, and 20 hours of practice.

You will be compensated to for training hours.
