Job Description

Expected pay for this position is $15.00. Job Summary The Staff Development Intern provides supportive, hands-on assistance to the Staff Development team while gaining exposure to healthcare education, training coordination, and learning management systems. This role is designed as a learning experience and focuses on assisting with the preparation, organization, and delivery of staff education programs, as well as supporting administrative and operational functions within the department. Responsibilities may include assisting with educational program setup, maintaining training records, supporting learning management system activities, and contributing to special projects as assigned.
Job Specifications Education and Experience:
Current enrollment in a healthcare, education, human resources, or related program required Interest in healthcare education, training, or organizational development preferred
Job Knowledge:
Basic understanding of office and administrative functions Interest in adult learning principles and staff education Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Willingness to learn learning management systems and audiovisual tools Abilities, Interests, and Temperaments Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn and take initiative Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Dependable and responsible Ability to work collaboratively with a team Professional demeanor and positive attitude Interest in developing new skills in a healthcare environment
