Job Description

No Experience Required | 90-Day Paid Training | $100K+ Potential | Management Career Track We aren't looking for people who just want to sell cars. We're looking for people who want to learn how to sell, lead, manage and eventually operate a business. Experience is not our primary concern. Potential is. We will evaluate you based on your professionalism, energy, attitude, competitiveness, coachability, critical thinking and—most importantly—how much effort you're willing to put into becoming exceptional at your craft. You don't need to walk through our doors knowing how to sell 20 cars a month. You need to walk through our doors wanting to learn how.
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
PAID DEVELOPMENT
Your first 90 days will be an intensive training and development period. Compensation during this period will be based on a $40,000 annual salary schedule. We're paying you while we teach you.
But understand what that means:
These are not 90 days to coast on a guaranteed paycheck. They're 90 days to build your foundation. You'll study. You'll role-play. You'll make calls. You'll work leads. You'll interact with customers. You'll learn our CRM. You'll learn our inventory. You'll learn vehicle fundamentals. You'll learn financing. You'll learn credit. You'll learn how deals are structured. You'll learn follow-up. You'll learn negotiation. You'll learn closing. You'll learn customer retention. You'll begin learning management. And you'll be expected to study training material outside of simply waiting for customers to walk through the door. Think of it as training camp. At the end of 90 days, the training wheels come off.
AFTER 90 DAYS
PERFORMANCE DETERMINES YOUR INCOME
After successfully completing your 90-day paid development period, you will transition directly into our aggressive unit-based compensation plan.
MONTHLY SALES COMPENSATION 12
Units — $3,500 13-15 units earn an additional $200 per vehicle 16 Units — $5,000 17-19 units earn an additional $200 per vehicle 20 Units — $6,500 21-24 units earn an additional $200 per vehicle 25 Units — $8,000 26-29 units earn an additional $200 per vehicle 30 Units — $10,000 Additional units above 30 continue to earn additional compensation. And that's only the unit portion of the compensation plan.
THERE'S ANOTHER LEVEL
We don't want to develop salespeople who only chase units. We want complete sales professionals. That's why there are additional monthly performance incentives for: Top Salesperson Best Customer Review Performance CRM Execution Highest Average Gross Highest Total Gross Customer Referrals Repeat Customers These additional performance incentives can add up to approximately $6,000 in a single month. That means a salesperson producing 30 units earns: $10,000 in unit compensation before additional performance incentives. An exceptional salesperson who also dominates the additional performance categories could potentially earn: $16,000 in a single month. That's the type of opportunity we're creating. But there's an important distinction: We don't guarantee exceptional income. We provide an opportunity to earn it. Your performance determines what you do with that opportunity.
WE WANT THE NEXT UNIT TO ALWAYS MATTER
Our compensation plan intentionally rewards progression. Sell 12. Then figure out how to get to 16. Get to 16. Now learn how to get to 20. Get to 20. Now push toward 25. Get to 25. Now go after 30. And every additional vehicle between the major performance levels earns additional compensation. The objective isn't to find your comfortable number. It's to keep moving your number. Eventually, we're not going to be asking: "Can you sell 20 cars?" We're going to be asking: "Can you teach someone else how to sell 20?" That's when the conversation starts moving from sales into leadership. That's a $120,000 annualized production pace before bonuses. And an exceptional month with additional performance incentives could put a top salesperson substantially above that. There is real six-figure earning potential here. But we're not going to pretend it's easy. You have to produce.
WE WILL TEACH YOU HOW
That's the difference. We're not putting you on the floor, handing you a CRM login and telling you: "Good luck." There will be a development program. Sales training. Phone training. Role-playing. CRM training. Product knowledge. Automotive education. Finance education. Deal structure. Customer psychology. Objection handling. Closing. Follow-up. Referral development. Management exposure. Business education. You'll have material to study. And we will know whether you're studying it.
YOUR STARTING POINT DOESN'T DETERMINE YOUR CEILING
We may interview someone with five years of automotive experience. We may interview someone who's never sold anything. We're not automatically choosing the person with five years of experience. We're asking: Who is more coachable? Who has more energy? Who communicates better? Who studies harder? Who handles rejection better? Who thinks critically? Who wants responsibility? Who is willing to put in the hours? Who has the discipline to practice something they're bad at until they're good at it? Who has the ambition to eventually lead other people? We are hiring trajectory—not just history.
THE HOURS WILL BE LONG
We want to make this clear before you apply. Automotive sales is not a 9-to-5 career. There will be long days. There will be Saturdays. There will be customers who arrive late. There will be follow-up after everyone else wants to stop. There will be studying and development beyond simply standing on the showroom floor. If you're looking for the easiest job you can find, don't apply. But if you're at a point in your life where you're willing to put serious time into developing yourself, we can give you a place where that effort has somewhere to go.
THIS IS A MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PIPELINE
We don't want to constantly search outside the company every time we need another manager. We want to develop them.
Our intended career progression is:
Sales Professional ↓ Senior Sales / Leadership Development ↓ General Sales Manager ↓ Assistant General Manager ↓ General Manager / Operator ↓ Future Multi-Store Leadership Opportunities Promotions won't happen because someone waited long enough. They will be earned. Through performance. Leadership. Critical thinking. Consistency. Professionalism. Accountability. Character. And the ability to develop the people around you.
YOU'LL LEARN BUSINESS
NOT JUST CAR SALES
If you take advantage of this opportunity, you're going to learn much more than how to sell a vehicle. You'll learn: Sales. Negotiation. Finance. Credit. Marketing. Customer acquisition. Customer retention. Inventory. Automotive fundamentals. Gross profit. Expenses. KPIs. Leadership. Management. Operations. Hiring. Training. Accountability. Business development. You'll learn how different departments work together to create a profitable organization. That's a real-world business education that's difficult to duplicate in a classroom. If you already have a college degree, great. If you don't, that's fine too. We care about what you can do with what you learn.
PROFESSIONALISM STARTS WITH THE INTERVIEW
Your interview begins the first time we communicate with you. We're paying attention. How do you answer the phone? How do you speak? Do you communicate professionally? Did you research us? Are you on time? How are you dressed? Can you maintain eye contact? Can you carry a conversation? Can you listen? Do you ask intelligent questions? You don't become professional after getting hired. Professionalism is where we start.
THREE-STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS
Stage 1 — Phone Interview We'll evaluate communication, professionalism, attitude and energy. Stage 2 — Individual Interview We'll evaluate your goals, ambition, critical thinking, personality and willingness to work. Stage 3 — Group Interview Finalists will participate in a group interview. We'll watch how you communicate, listen, compete, collaborate, think under pressure and interact with other high-performing personalities. We're not automatically choosing the loudest person. We're looking for potential leaders.
WHO WE WANT
You don't need automotive experience.
You DO need:
Energy. Ambition. Professionalism. Coachability. Competitive drive. Communication skills. Critical thinking. Emotional maturity. Work ethic. Self-discipline. We want people who aren't satisfied with simply being good.
Our philosophy is:
Good isn't good enough until it's your best—and it's the best. That doesn't mean we're expecting perfection. It means we're expecting improvement. Better calls. Better follow-up. Better questions. Better product knowledge. Better closing. Better organization. Better judgment. Better leadership. Every month.
THIS PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU
IF... You want easy money. You want short hours. You need constant motivation. You don't like studying. You become defensive when coached. You hate being measured. You want a management title before proving yourself. You believe showing up deserves a reward. Or you're satisfied being average.
BUT IF YOU'RE
THINKING... "Give me the opportunity. Teach me. Push me. Give me the tools. Hold me accountable. Let me prove what I can do." That's the person we want to meet. You don't need to arrive here as the finished product. You need to arrive hungry enough to become one. If you make it through our interview process and earn a position on this team, we'll invest in your development. What you do with that opportunity is up to you. Come prepared.
